Hello everyone! Here is a little background information about our York Nursing Passion Project Campaign. Our group consists of five, third year Bachelor of Science in Nursing students at York University. We are working together as a group to raise awareness about organ and tissue donation throughout York University as part of our nursing class project. Our goal is to have 300 of members of the York University community to register to be organ and tissue donors in Ontario. Organ donation from one individual can help up to 8 others. Tissue donation from one individual can help up to 75 others. It takes just two minutes to register online and becoming a donor gives hope to those waiting for a life saving transplant to significantly increase their quality of life. We're also asking that you ask your friends and family to register as well! Please just click the red register button and follow the easy steps to donate. All you need is your health card number.
