As I gather information for my research paper on organ donation in Ontario, I was shocked to learn that only about 30% of Ontarians are registered donors. Did you know that there are between 1500-1600 Ontarians currently waiting for an organ? Sadly three people die in Ontario every three days while waiting for a life-saving organ.
