Loving my life with my 3 kids, my doggy, my small home, all in small town Ontario. We enjoyed strolling through nature in the evenings, happy and care free. Then I noticed my breathing was becoming more difficult and slowing me down. This was just the start of my frightening journey into near death! My life was slipping through my fingers like a wet paper bag.That was ten years ago and lead to puffers and oxygen 24/7. When you can't breathe, nothing else matters! Lost 80lbs, crushing anxiety, home bound, and barely hanging on. Last year came down with Pneumonia twice, Covid, and went through 3 hospitals and on life support. Then the stars lined up and I was blessed to have a match for a Double Lung Transplant. I think often and am so thankful to the donor and family who gave the Gift of Life!
