For years I was sick and dying. My heart donor saved my life. With my new heart I'll be alive to graduate university, work my dream job, get married, travel the world, and have children. That all being said, the best part of receiving a new heart and being alive is knowing that my family isn't living without their daughter, sister, loved one.

It's not just "old people" that get sick and need an organ transplant, it happens to us young people too (I was 21)! Please, register your consent to be an organ and tissue donor. Someday, someone you love might need a transplant like I did.
