Every three days someone dies in Ontario because the life-saving organ transplant they need is not available, yet only 22% of Ontarians have registered their consent to be a donor. Since one organ donor can save up to eight lives and through tissue donation enhance another 75, the City of Vaughan believes we can do better! With 1,500 people in the province waiting for organ transplants, the City of Vaughan is committed to doing our part.
