I've been diagnosed with FSGS since the age of 4. FSGS caused renal failure at the age of 6. I was on dialysis for a year before my first transplant. FSGS caused my new transplant to fail after 5 years. I am now 18 and back on dialysis since 2010. I have high antibodies and I am very hard to match. I have been on a waiting list for a new transplant since 2012. Living without any kidneys has been difficult and I am anxious for the day that I get the call telling me they found a suitable match.
