Trillium Gift of Life Network's mission is to save lives. That's Canadian Blood Services' mission too. So this fall, we're helping each other do more. From November 4 to 15, Canadian Blood Services is working to raise awareness and increase organ and tissue donor registration among Ontario employees and volunteers. In turn, Trillium staff are supporting an Ontario-wide blood drive. One organ donor can save up to eight lives and enhance the lives of 75 others through donation. Our target of 175 registrations could mean hundreds of lives saved. Many people mistakenly believe they are registered because they have signed a paper donation card. It takes less than 2 minutes to check your registration consent status and/or register to become an organ and tissue donor. All you need to do is click the link to the right and have your health card handy. Share this with friends and family so they too can check and register.
